Kapuso Heartthrob Enrique Raphael Quiogue Nacino a.k.a. Rocco Nacino had an Advance Birthday celebration at the Makati High School Library last March 13.
With so many blessings in hand such as an illustrious career both on television and the movies, special someone to share his love with, very supportive parents and thriving business (Elorde Gym in Marcos Highway, soon in Ortigas), Rocco has definitely so many things to be thankful for.
Rocco wanted to think out-of-the-box this time when it comes to making his birthday special. Being a successful graduate himself, he knows how hard it is do to research, do paper works and reports. For this year, he wanted to “pay things forward” by donating a 6 Months Free Sun Cellular Wi-Fi Internet Access. With the help of the GMA Artist Center who looked for the recipient and organized the event, Rocco was able to celebrate his birthday and thanksgiving celebration at the Makati High School.
During the event, Rocco’s boy-next-door-looks had made the chosen students in the said high school in full-throttle kilig fan mode. The event was filled with laughter (squeals) and there was not a single boring moment in the event. From the time Rocco had his opening remarks, a surprise dance number and serenade by some and a fliptop style greeting. During the event, Rocco presented his gift – the free wi-fi for half a year to the school and this was accepted by the school’s custodian who thanked the actor for this special but very important contribution.
After the program, the humble and well-grounded actor served the students and teachers with the birthday food care of Mcdonald’s and free gifts from Joel Cruz and Nisce.
Rocco was personally surprised with the overwhelming reception of his gift that he is currently considering if he is going to make the said free wifi access extend for the whole school year or provide another school with the same gift.
Indeed it is not surprising to see such generosity as Rocco is continuously showered with several projects including a short film with Aljur Abrenica where he will showcase his Martial Arts skills, the opening of another Elorde Gym in Ortigas. He is also part of Mowelfund’s “Ibong Adarna” project and a possible two Cinemalaya films wherein he will be acting side by side with Philippine Cinema’s very own superstar, Nora Aunor. On a personal note, Rocco will be having a vacation and tour Europe either this May or June.
